The Western New York Chapter of the Community Association Institute (WNY-CAI) was founded by George Grasser and Ruth DeRoo and received its designation in 1979.
The chapter administers a variety of programs and services, such as professional development programming, community association board member education, networking opportunities, educational publications and other services to meet the needs of our members.
The WNY-CAI is governed and its policies are executed by a Board of Directors (see attachment). All officers are members of the Board of Directors. The Chapter has engaged a part time paid Executive Director as an independent contractor to manage the day-to-day operations.

CAI WNY will be forming Membership, Sponsorship, and Events committees in 2020.
Our Membership Committee will assist in recruiting and welcoming new members, as well as reaching out to people whose memberships will be expiring or have expired.
The Sponsorship Committee will focus on obtaining gold, silver, and bronze level Business Sponsorships, as well as event sponsorships.
The Events Committee will aid in planning, publicizing, and facilitating our educational workshops and social gatherings.
Committees are vital to the success of our Chapter. They are a great way to get involved, meet fellow Members, and put your knowledge and experience to great use! If you are interested in serving, please email our Chapter Executive Director, Kris Fulmer, at : email@example.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
